Micoheal Cream is a topical antifungal medication containing miconazole as its active ingredient. Miconazole belongs to the azole antifungal class and works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes, ultimately leading to fungal cell death. It is also sold under the brand name Monistat Cream. It is important to use Micoheal Cream for the entire duration of treatment, even if symptoms improve before the end of the treatment period, to prevent the infection from recurring. Micoheal Cream may cause some side effects, including itching, burning, stinging, or redness at the site of application. These side effects are usually mild and should go away on their own. If the side effects persist or worsen, or if you experience any other unusual symptoms, contact your healthcare professional immediately. Micohael Cream should not be used on broken or irritated skin or areas of the skin affected by eczema.
