Why is rare earth processing so difficult to establish outside China?
Rare Earth processing is difficult to establish outside the China. Because of technical expertise, environmental concerns, high coast and economic costs. Establishing rare earth processing outside the China is difficult due to the combination of factor including highly specialize technology developed by China, strict environmental regulation outside the China in western countries. It takes high cost for mining and refining. Which make it challenging for other countries to get rare from earth, because of technology and higher cost.
